In most of the cases, infants traveling internationally are required to pay a percentage of the adult fare, plus taxes and carry a paper ticket even though they are traveling on the adult's lap. Generally, the airlines never pre-allot 100% seats of any flight. The Bulk Head and Emergency Exit row seating are not assigned to any passenger. Moreover, many seats are also left unassigned for other airline employees, frequent flyer passenger, etc.

So, in case, you have a confirmed booking, but your seat has not yet assigned, then we recommend you reaching the airport at least three hours before your scheduled departure time, so that you can get your seat assigned by airport ticket/gate agents on a first come, first serve basis.

All flight bookings (including domestic and international flights) must be made with the name appearing on the traveler's government issued identification or passport. No nicknames are acceptable, as Airlines do not allow name changes due to heightened Homeland Security rules. In the majority of the cases, airlines require you to buy replacement tickets at the current fare. If your original tickets are not used after a specific period (generally 6 to 12 months depending on the airline), you will receive a credit for the purchase price of the replacement tickets minus the application fee. This fee is typically $100.00 per traveler but may vary by airline.

Please note that these policies and fees are subject to change at any time. If your paper tickets are lost or stolen, you can file a lost ticket application by contacting our Customer Support team.

When you book with FareLord, we make sure that you get informed about any flight changes via email or phone. However, airline/supplier have right to make changes without prior information to agencies and many a times, we are not aware of these changes made by the airline. So, we recommend you to reconfirm your itinerary directly with the airline at least 72 hours before the departure.

However, in case, you have requested changes and have accepted a schedule change from the airline (either by speaking with one of our agents or with a representative of the airline); then you will be required to pay applicable penalties or fees for the requested future changes. However, you will not be charged any fees or penalties if the airline has changed your flight schedule without your request or discretion.

In case of cancelation, the refund policy might vary by airlines to airlines or type of ticket issued. The discounted airline tickets are generally non-refundable. Though they are economical, but the fare rules applied are restrictive. Hence, you will not get a refund if you cancel your flight. Refund restrictions are mentioned on our website.

In case, you encounter any mistake in date of your itinerary, you must immediately contact our Customer Support team.
In case, the email you have received shows pending status; then it signifies that your booking has not yet confirmed by the airline. You will receive an e-mail with the confirmed itinerary after your credit card has been charged with the amount and tickets have been issued.
Once the booking has been confirmed, you will receive a paper ticket within 2 to 3 business days. You would be also provided with tracking number so that you can track the delivery status of your paper ticket. In case you have not received your paper tickets and your departure is nearing, please contact our Customer Support team.
At the time of flight booking, you will be acknowledged, whether you will receive an e-ticket or a paper ticket via post or courier. If any change occurs with your type of tickets because of any technical glitch, FareLord will notify you within 24 hours of your booking. However, when your itinerary include multiple airlines that don’t have any ticketing agreements, we only issue a paper ticket and for that we will send you a confirmation through an email.
We advise you contacting the airline at least 72 hours prior your scheduled flight departure, in order to confirm your booking. Also, you must reconfirm your return flights, within the same time frame.
Partially used tickets are of no value. In some cases, unused tickets may be exchanged for a new ticket (subjected to the policies of the airline). But, if you don’t show up for the flight, your unused ticket will not hold any value.
To add more passengers, the only way is to make a new booking. Since fares are subject to change every moment; FareLord does not guarantee the availability of the original fare or flight.

Most airlines now offer e-tickets or electronic tickets which allows you to travel without worrying about the loss or theft of your paper tickets. But, when traveling with e-tickets, ensure to carry government-issued photo identification (such as a passport or driver's license) with you to the airport.

However, you need to have your printed boarding pass up to 24 hours in advance to proceed through the security checkpoint. If you have checked-in with your baggage online or have e-tickets, you must go to the ticket counter to obtain your boarding pass.

Many U.S. airlines have changed their baggage allowance for both cabin/carry-on bags and check-in luggage. And some carriers are now charging a fee for the second bag as well as for the carry-on luggage. To get the updated information on the baggage restrictions, please call the airlines directly.
If you are changing flights and your airline has a baggage agreement, your baggage will be checked through to your final destination. In case, there is no baggage agreement, it will be your responsibility to go to the Baggage Claim counter at the very first airport from where you are changing your flight to claim your bags. From there, you must check-in your baggage again for the next flight.
Please look for baggage alert in your itinerary. If you have one, it means the airlines do not have baggage agreement. Please call the airline you are flying, and confirm whether your baggage will be checked to your final destination or if you will have to claim your luggage when you change planes.

If you miss your departure flight, the airline has the right to mark your ticket as a "No Show" booking. It means your ticket has no value and cannot be changed or refunded, even with a penalty. If you are on your way to the airport and feel you might miss your flight, you must call the airline immediately to avoid the situation of "No Show."

If you've boarded your departure flight, but have missed the subsequent flight, you should go to the nearest ticket counter of your airline as soon as possible. In case you've missed your flight, you were supposed to change to due to a problem that is within the airline's control, they should provide you with a booking in the very next available flight. If the reason for missing a flight is not within the airline's control (weather, air traffic, etc.) or due to your fault, it will be left entirely up to the airline's discretion to protect you or not. If the airline decides that protection is not acceptable, it will be up to the passengers to find their way to their final destination at their own expense.

Important: If you miss any of your flights, all consequent flights in the same itinerary will also be canceled under the "No Show" policy.

Prepaid Ticket Advice is a system where a message is sent to the airline for issuing the paper tickets at the airport. This is applicable in cases where paper tickets cannot be delivered to the customer's address or in some instances due to some countries’ rules and regulations; we are unable to issue you an electronic ticket.

Once the PTA has been sent to the airline for your booking, we will email you one PTA number for all passengers involved in the booking. You will have to provide this number at the airline ticket counter upon check-in at the airport to obtain the paper ticket(s).

Please note that a PTA service fee of $150.00USD will be added to the "Airline Fees and Taxes" amount to cover this cost.

Adults over the age of 65 may be eligible for senior citizen discounts, but it is subjected to airlines' policies. As many domestic airlines no more offer a senior discount and not all international carriers provide such discounts. Senior travelers fall under the age group of 65 and above. Fares may not be discounted on all flights.

Lap - adults traveling in your group may hold the infant(s) throughout the flight without opting for a separate seat. Infants in laps usually ride for free on domestic flights, but, on most international flights, you will need to pay a fee for the same. Round trip means flying from one location to another and returning to the first location.

One way means flying from one location to another, and not returning to the first location.

Multiple destinations mean visiting several locations by choosing flights between each of those locations.

However, some airlines may use different names to describe their classes of service, here are some common terms used:

Coach/Economy Class is seating is in the main cabin area which is the most economical.

Business Class The seating in such a cabin is quite spacious, allowing you to recline farther and giving more leg space. It also offers an upgraded meal service. Business class tickets are costly than Economy class but less than First Class.

First class seating is the most expensive and located very close to the front part of the aircraft. It has limited but most comfortable seats and offers upgraded meals. Other perks include shorter check-in queues and access to the airline's airport business lounge. Please note that not all aircraft offer this kind of seating arrangement.

Flight options include:

Nonstop flights: Check this box if you want to see fares only for flights that do not stop or provide the opportunity of changing planes at one or more airports before you reach your final destination.

Connecting flights: Flights may have one or more landings and departures. Passengers will have to get off the plane and re-board another flight to reach the final destination.

Stops but no plane change flights: These flights may have up to 2 landings and departures that may not be disclosed upon booking, but you are not allowed to change the planes.

  • FareLord shall not be liable for the failure of travel service suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, steamship lines, railroads, car rental agencies, tour operators and consolidators to perform the services offered by such suppliers.

Except as expressly stated herein, FareLord holds no responsibility for actions relating to travel services beyond the control of FareLord or its employees.
  • FareLord is not liable for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, damage, delay, nonperformance, irregularity, or any consequence thereof, which may be occasioned through neglect, or default or any other act or inaction of any supplier of Travel products.
  • FareLord shall not be liable for any fluctuation in price or change in schedule or equipment or accommodations for any travel service, which occurs after payment for such service.
